Who is responsible
The controller of the data collected on this site is Konstantinos Nikolaidis, visual artist and iconographer, based in Ano Ilioupoli, Attica. Contact: [email protected], (+30) 697 47 81 654. Member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece (E.E.T.E.) since 2008. Given the nature and scale of the activity, no Data Protection Officer is required.
What data we collect
From the contact form. When you complete the form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the type of enquiry and the text of your message. All fields are required. We ask for a telephone number because every commission involves discussing dimensions, site visits and timelines, which email alone does not serve well.
Automatically, from the server. The hosting provider records technical data (IP address, time, page, browser type) for security and correct operation.
Through cookies, only with your consent. If you accept the relevant cookies, browsing data and device identifiers are collected by the analytics and advertising tools described below.
We do not buy data from third parties, we do not build visitor profiles based on your identity, and we do not ask for special categories of data. If you mention such information in your message, we process it only as far as needed to reply.
Why we collect it, and on what legal basis
- Answering your enquiry and managing a commission — art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract.
- Security and correct operation of the site — art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest.
- Analytics and advertising cookies — art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent, together with art. 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006.
- Tax and accounting obligations, where a commission follows — art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months.
- Client details: for the duration of the collaboration and five years afterwards; where tax law requires it, for as long as the law prescribes.
- Server logs: normally up to six months, held by the hosting provider.
- The record of your cookie choice: six months.
You may ask us to delete your details at any time.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website.
Strictly necessary — no consent required. agio_consent remembers your cookie choice (6 months). wordpress_logged_in_* and wp-settings-* relate to site administration and are set only if you log in as an administrator.
Analytics — only with your consent. Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited): _ga and _ga_<ID>, lasting up to 14 months, to distinguish visitors and measure traffic.
Advertising — only with your consent. Google Ads: _gcl_au, 90 days, to measure conversions. Meta Pixel: _fbp, 90 days, for advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Further cookies may be set on the domains google.com, doubleclick.net and facebook.com, lasting up to 13 months.
No analytics or advertising cookie is set before you give your consent in the notice shown on your first visit. Refusing is as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
We use Google Consent Mode v2: before you consent, Google’s tools run in a restricted mode, without cookies and without advertising identifiers. The site’s fonts are hosted locally, and we embed no videos, maps or other third-party content that tracks visitors.
Advertising and remarketing
We advertise through Google Ads and Meta (Facebook, Instagram). If you consent to advertising cookies, we measure which advertisements led to a completed contact form, you may see our advertisements again on other websites or on Facebook and Instagram, and audiences are built from browsing behaviour — not from your identity.
We do not pass your name, email address, telephone number or message content to Google or Meta. We take no automated decisions producing legal effects or similarly significantly affecting you within the meaning of art. 22 GDPR; profiling is limited to advertising targeting. You can set advertising preferences independently at Google (myadcenter.google.com) and Meta.
Recipients
Your details are never sold. Access is limited to the hosting provider and the email provider, as processors under an art. 28 GDPR agreement, and to Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for data arising from analytics and advertising cookies. For measurement and audience building we act as joint controllers with Meta under art. 26 GDPR; Meta is solely responsible for any further processing on its own platforms.
Transfers outside the EEA
Google and Meta may transfer data to servers in the United States. These transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which both companies are certified, and additionally on the Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Despite these safeguards, the level of protection in the United States may not fully correspond to the European one.
Server logs
The hosting provider records technical data for security and operational reasons. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used for commercial purposes.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected]; we reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (1–3 Kifissias Avenue, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr).
Security and children
The site runs exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
The policy is updated whenever the tools or purposes of processing change. The date of the last update is shown at the top. For material changes concerning cookies, your consent will be requested again.
